QUALITY COMPONENTS YOU CAN DEPEND ON.
Hinges – Composite or Steel
Composite hinges require no lubrication or maintenance and operate extremely quietly. They are suitable for steel or wooden garage doors and may be mounted using flanged-head screws in wood – and rivets in steel.
Steel hinges are also suitable for both steel and wooden doors – and are included in the hardware boxes as a spare part. Each hinge is designed to fit a specific place on the door and is numbered so that if a replacement is for some reason required, the correct hinge can easily be ordered.
Made of Nylon, the rollers for the door panels comprise a ten-ball bearing and steel shaft. Heavy duty and very quiet running, our rollers are pre-packed in every hardware box but are also available as separate items.
The curve that joins the vertical and horizontal tracks is also available as a separate item if spares are required. Two composite curves are included in every hardware box. They are multi-directional, meaning each curve can be used on either the left or right track. Available in 12 and 15 inch versions, Hydro curves are made from a glass-filled Nylon composite, ensuring silent running across joins.
Torsion and Tension Springs
These springs are used on a wide variety of garage doors, from standard singles to caravan doubles. The most important aspect of fitting the correct springs to a door is ensuring the installer is aware of the correct weight of the door, as well as the correct width and height.
Hydro springs are manufactured to stringent quality standards in our factory and are tested to withstand at least 15,000 operations.
